The standard establishes special requirements for the mechanisms of bridge and gantry cranes to ensure safety during operation and complements or modifies the requirements of GOST 33166.1. The requirements of the standard also apply to gantry cranes with a lifting console, including mooring reloaders. Failure to comply with the requirements of the standard may increase the risk of using bridge and gantry cranes or shorten their service life. The standard is applicable to all new cranes manufactured after the expiration of one year after its approval. The standard is not intended to require the replacement or upgrading of existing equipment. However, when upgrading equipment, the requirements for its properties should be revised in accordance with this standard. If the fulfillment of the requirements of the standard during modernization causes significant changes in the design, the possibility and necessity of bringing the equipment into compliance with the requirements of this standard should be determined by the manufacturer (designer), and if it is not available, by the organization performing its functions, and subsequent changes must be made by the owner (user ) for one year.
Стандарт устанавливает специальные требования к механизмам мостовых и козловых кранов для обеспечения безопасности в процессе эксплуатации и дополняет или изменяет требования ГОСТ 33166.1. Требования стандарта распространяются также на козловые краны с подъемной консолью, в том числе, на причальные перегружатели. Невыполнение требований стандарта может привести к увеличению риска использования мостовых и козловых кранов или к сокращению срока их службы. Стандарт применим ко всем новым кранам, изготовленным после истечения одного года после ее утверждения. Стандарт не имеет целью требовать замены или модернизации существующего оборудования. Однако при модернизации оборудования, требования к его свойствам должны быть пересмотрены в соответствии с данным стандартом. Если выполнение требований стандарта при модернизации вызывает существенные изменения конструкции, то возможность и необходимость приведения оборудования в соответствие с требованиями данного стандарта должна определяться изготовителем (проектировщиком), а при его отсутствии – организацией, выполняющей его функции, а последующие изменения должны быть выполнены владельцем (пользователем) в течение одного года.
