The standard contains comprehensive information necessary for effective and under regulatory conditions to determine, declare and test airborne noise emitted by printing and paper processing equipment, which is subject to standards [14], equipment for the manufacture and finishing of paper, which is covered by standards [57] , as well as measurement methods, installation conditions and operating modes used in the tests. This standard applies to machines listed in annexes A to J. The provisions of this standard can also be applied to determine the noise characteristics of machines and machine assemblies that are not specified in mandatory annexes A – J, if there are no reasons precluding the possibility of their use. In this case, all information regarding the composition, installation conditions and operating modes, as well as the location of workplaces, should be recorded and included in the test report. Noise characteristics include emission sound pressure levels at specified measurement points and sound power levels. The declared values of noise characteristics allow comparison of machines on the market. The application of this standard ensures reproducible determination of noise characteristics within specified limits. These limits depend on the degree of accuracy of the measurement method used. Noise measurements established by this standard are performed using a technical method (degree of accuracy 2) and an approximate method (degree of accuracy 3).
Стандарт содержит исчерпывающую информацию, необходимую для эффективного и при нормативных условиях определения, заявления и проверки воздушного шума, излучаемого печатными и бумагоперерабатывающим оборудованием, на которое распространяется действие стандартов [14], оборудованием для изготовления и отделки бумаги, на которое распространяется действие стандартов [57], а также методы измерения, условия монтажа и режимы работы, используемые при испытаниях. Настоящий стандарт распространяется на машины, перечисленные в приложениях А-J. Положения настоящего стандарта могут быть применены также для определения шумовых характеристик машин и узлов машин, не указанных в обязательных приложениях А–J, если нет причин, исключающих возможность их применения. В этом случае вся информация, касающаяся состава, условий монтажа и режимов работы, а также расположения рабочих мест, должна быть зарегистрирована и включена в протокол испытаний. Шумовые характеристики включают уровни звукового давления излучения в заданных измерительных точках и уровни звуковой мощности. Заявленные значения шумовых характеристик позволяют проводить сравнение машин на рынке. Применение настоящего стандарта обеспечивает воспроизводимость определения шумовых характеристик в установленных пределах. Эти пределы зависят от степени точности использованного метода измерения. Измерения шума, установленные настоящим стандартом, выполняют с помощью технического метода (степень точности 2) и ориентировочного метода (степень точности 3).
