Стандарт распространяется на мясо, включая мясо птицы, субпродукты, мясные и мясосодержащие продукты, и устанавливает метод определения массовой доли сорбиновой и бензойной кислот и их солей (сорбат натрия Е201, сорбат калия Е202, сорбат кальция Е203, бензоат натрия Е211, бензоат калия Е212, бензоат кальция Е213) с помощью высокоэффективной жидкостной хроматографии (ВЭЖХ) в ультрафиолетовой (УФ) области спектра. Диапазон определения массовой доли сорбиновой и бензойной кислот и их солей составляет от 0,01 % до 2,00 %.
