Polymer composites. Method for determining the shear modulus in the plane by the torsion method

The standard applies to polymer composites and establishes a method for determining the shear modulus in the plane by the torsion method. If this method is applied to isotropic materials, then the measured elastic modulus at shear does not depend on the direction of shear. This method is applicable to fiber-reinforced composites with both a thermosetting matrix and a thermoplastic matrix. This method is not applicable for determining shear strength.
Стандарт распространяется на полимерные композиты и устанавливает метод определения модуля сдвига в плоскости методом кручения. Если данный метод применяют к изотропным материалам, то измеренный модуль упругости при сдвиге не зависит от направления сдвига. Данный метод применим к композитам, армированным волокном, как с термореактивной матрицей, так и термопластичной матрицей. Данный метод не применим для определения прочности на сдвиг.
