The standard applies to railway equipment and establishes training rules, including the maintenance and execution of a safety justification, which can be used to confirm the compliance of products with the requirements of technical regulations in the field of railway transport operating in the territory of the state that adopted the standard, as well as to assess product safety other stages of the life cycle.
Стандарт распространяется на железнодорожную технику и устанавливает правила подготовки, в том числе содержание и оформление обоснования безопасности, которое может быть использовано при подтверждении соответствия продукции требованиям технических регламентов в области железнодорожного транспорта, действующих на территории государства, принявшего стандарт, а также для оценки безопасности продукции на других стадиях жизненного цикла.
