The standard applies to powdered milk obtained by removing water by spray drying from pasteurized whole, skimmed or normalized cow's milk, with or without the addition of vitamins, intended for direct consumption (after reconstitution), industrial processing for food purposes, and the manufacture of baby food , as well as for export.

Стандарт распространяется на сухое молоко, полученное удалением воды путем распылительной сушки из пастеризованного цельного, обезжиренного или нормализованного коровьего молока, с добавлением или без добавления витаминов и предназначенное для непосредственного употребления в пищу (после восстановления), промышленной переработки на пищевые цели, изготовления продуктов детского питания, а также для поставки на экспорт.
