This standard applies to the objects of the linear part of gas pipelines of the gas supply system in terms of ensuring their mechanical safety and contains methods and techniques used to designate the period of safe operation of these objects. The methodology given in this standard is intended for use in the design of objects defined by the scope of the relevant standards and codes of practice that ensure compliance with or contribute to compliance with laws, technical regulations, norms and rules in the field of industrial safety
