This standard applies to boxes, housings and parts thereof (hereinafter referred to as boxes and housings) for embedding electrical devices (hereinafter-devices) into them with a rated voltage of not more than 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC installed in fixed electrical installations of household and similar purpose and operated indoors or outdoors
