The standard establishes the terms and definitions of basic concepts in the field of transport services, intermodal transport. The standard applies to the carriage of goods by all modes of transport within the international transport system in the case of the use of cargo transport units (CTU). The terms established by the standard are obligatory for use in all documents and literature on transport services.
Стандарт устанавливает термины и определения основных понятий в области транспортных услуг-интермодальных перевозок. Стандарт распространяется на перевозки грузов всеми видами транспорта в рамках международной транспортной системы в случае использования грузовых транспортных единиц (ГТЕ). Термины, установленные стандартом, обязательны к применению во всех документах и литературе по транспортным услугам
