This standard establishes a method for determining the intensity of an earthquake that occurred and predicting the possible effects of future earthquakes. This standard should guide the field survey of areas affected by earthquakes, as well as for assessing the seismic hazard of a territory with general seismic zoning (SRR), detailed seismic zoning (JEM), seismic globalization (SMR), when estimating possible parameters of ground movement during expected earthquakes , in the design of buildings and structures for construction in seismic areas. This standard is intended for engineering surveys performed at all stages of the life cycle of buildings and other structures, as well as technical products. This standard is used in assessing the possible socio-economic effects of earthquakes and for rescue and recovery planning.
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает методику определения интенсивности произошедшего землетрясения и прогнозирования возможных эффектов будущих землетрясений. Настоящим стандартом надлежит руководствоваться при полевом обследовании территорий, подвергшихся воздействию землетрясений, а также для оценки сейсмической опасности территории при общем сейсмическом районировании (ОСР), детальном сейсмическом районировании (ДСР), сейсмическом мирорайонировании (СМР), при оценке возможных параметров движения грунта при ожидаемых землетрясениях, при проектировании зданий и сооружений для строительства в сейсмических районах. Настоящий стандарт предназначен для инженерных изысканий, выполняемых на всех этапах жизненного цикла зданий и других сооружений, а также технических изделий. Настоящий стандарт применяется при оценке возможных социально-экономических последствий землетрясений и для планирования спасательных и восстановательных работ
