This standard applies to batteries and rechargeable batteries used in electrical energy storage (SHE) applications running on a network and contains test methods to verify their performance, endurance, and other properties. Since the test methods are independent of the electrochemical system, this standard applies to all types of batteries and batteries in a networked application. The network application is characterized by the fact that the batteries are connected through power conversion devices to a regional, state or continental power grid and act as instantaneous sources and consumers of energy for stabilizing the network parameters with an unexpected supply of large amounts of electrical energy from renewable sources. This standard does not apply to energy conversion devices and devices that interconnect with other equipment.
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на аккумуляторы и аккумуляторные батареи, используемые в приложениях систем хранения электрической энергии (СХЭЭ), эксплуатируемых в сети, и содержит методы испытаний для проверки их рабочих характеристик, выносливости и других свойств. Поскольку методы испытаний не зависят от электрохимической системы, настоящий стандарт распространяется на все типы аккумуляторов и аккумуляторных батарей сетевого применения. Сетевое применение характеризуется тем, что батареи подключены через устройства преобразования энергии к региональной, государственной или общеконтинентальной электросети и выступают в качестве мгновенных источников и потребителей энергии для стабилизации параметров сети при неожиданной подаче большого количества электрической энергии от возобновляемых источников энергии. Настоящий стандарт не распространяется на устройства преобразования энергии и устройства, обеспечивающие взаимосвязь с другим оборудованием
