The standard applies to manual arc welding with metal coated electrodes, arc welding with flux cored wire, self-shielding solid wire, flux, carbon dioxide, as well as electroslag welding and establishes safety requirements when making welds from carbon and structural steel.
Стандарт распространяется на ручную дуговую сварку металлическими покрытыми электродами, дуговую сварку порошковой проволокой, самозащитной проволокой сплошного сечения, под флюсом, в углекислом газе, а также электрошлаковую сварку и устанавливает требования безопасности при выполнении сварных соединений из углеродистой и конструкционной стали.
