Transport packages. Compression test method

This standard establishes a compression test method for transport packaging with a compressive load applied and a subsequent determination of the deformation of the package. Tests are used to assess the strength of the package or the degree of protection of the packaged products that the package provides. The test is carried out as a separate test to determine the effect of compression (deformation, flattening or rupture) or as part of successive tests designed to determine the ability of a package to withstand loads
Настоящий стандарт устанавливает метод испытания транспортной упаковки на сжатие с приложением сжимающей нагрузки и последующим определением деформации упаковки. Испытания применяют для оценки прочности упаковки или степени защиты упакованной продукции, которую обеспечивает упаковка. Испытание проводят как отдельное-для определения влияния сжатия (деформации, сплющивания или разрыва) или как часть последовательных испытаний, предназначенных для определения способности упаковки выдерживать нагрузки
