This standard establishes norms and methods for calculating the strength of vessels and apparatus made of carbon and alloyed steels, alloys on iron-nickel base, non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, titanium and their alloys) used in chemical, petrochemical, oil refining and other industries conditions of single and multiple static loads under internal overpressure, vacuum or external pressure, under the action of axial and lateral forces and bending moments, inertial loads straps and so forth., and sets the safety factor and stability, allowable stress and strength coefficients welds. Norms and methods of strength calculation are applicable if the properties of materials, requirements for the design, manufacture and control of vessels and apparatus meet the requirements of GOST 34347. If deviations from the geometric shape, inaccuracies or quality, the material characteristics differ from the requirements of normative technical documents, then when calculating for strength, these deviations should be taken into account by adjusting the safety factors and allowable stresses, as well as using other methods of calculation

Настоящий стандарт устанавливает нормы и методы расчета на прочность сосудов и аппаратов из углеродистых и легированных сталей, сплавов на железоникелевой основе, цветных металлов (алюминия, меди, титана и их сплавов), применяемых в химической, нефтехимической, нефтеперерабатывающей и других отраслях промышленности, работающих в условиях однократных и многократных статических нагрузок под внутренним избыточным давлением, вакуумом или наружным давлением, под действием осевых и поперечных усилий и изгибающих моментов, инерционных нагрузок и пр., а также устанавливает значения коэффициентов запаса прочности и устойчивости, допускаемых напряжений и коэффициентов прочности сварных швов. Нормы и методы расчета на прочность применимы, если свойства материалов, требования к конструкции, изготовлению и контролю сосудов и аппаратов отвечают требованиям ГОСТ 34347. Если отклонения от геометрической формы, неточности или качество изготовления, характеристики материала отличаются от требований нормативных технич��ских документов, то при расчете на прочность эти отступления должны быть учтены корректировкой коэффициентов запаса и допускаемых напряжений, а также использованием иных методов расчета
