The standard applies to bipolar connectors for electrical appliances with grounding or without grounding contact for household and similar purposes for use in AC networks of 50 Hz or 60 Hz with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V and a rated current of not more than 16 A, intended for installation in electrical devices or other electrical equipment of multi-element design, in which the correct articulation of the connector is provided by the impact of the weight of the electrical device.
Стандарт распространяется на двухполюсные соединители для электроприборов с заземляющим или без заземляющего контакта бытового и аналогичного назначения для применения в сетях переменного тока частотой 50 Гц или 60 Гц с номинальным напряжением не более 250 В и номинальным током не более 16 А, предназначенные для установки в электрических приборах или другом электрическом оборудовании многоэлементной конструкции, в которых правильное сочленение соединителя обеспечивается за счет воздействия веса электрического прибора.
