This standard, which is part of the ISO 12643 series of standards, specifies requirements for the design and manufacture of processing machines and equipment used for printing on packaging in the processing and printing industry. This part should be applied to processing machines and equipment that are not covered by other parts of ISO 12643. This standard is used in conjunction with the general requirements of ISO 12643-1
