This standard applies to welded steel pipes intended for the manufacture of building structures used for the construction of various civil and industrial facilities operating at a temperature not higher than 100 ° C and not lower than minus 60 ° C. This standard does not apply to pipes intended for the manufacture of steel structures of bridges, transport tunnels, as well as to culverts under the embankments of roads and railways. In cases of using pipes in structures that are in special operating conditions (for example, blast furnace constructions; main and technological pipelines; special purpose tanks; structures of buildings exposed to seismic effects, intensive effects of temperature, radiation, corrosive environments; structures of hydrotechnical and land-improvement facilities) constructions of unique buildings and structures, buildings of nuclear power plants, as well as special types of structures (for example, a preliminary a tense, space, hanging), should comply with additional requirements under the relevant regulations, which reflect the features of these structures

Настоящий стандарт распространяется на трубы стальные сварные, предназначенные для изготовления строительных конструкций, применяемых для сооружения различных объектов гражданского и промышленного назначения, работающих при температуре не выше 100 °С и не ниже минус 60 °С. Настоящий стандарт не распространяется на трубы, предназначенные для изготовления стальных конструкций мостов, транспортных тоннелей, а также на водопропускные трубы под насыпями автомобильных и железных дорог. В случаях применения труб в конструкциях, находящихся в особых условиях эксплуатации (например, конструкциях доменных печей; магистральных и технологических трубопроводов; резервуаров специального назначения; конструкциях зданий, подвергающихся сейсмическим воздействиям, интенсивным воздействиям температуры, радиации, агрессивных сред; конструкциях гидротехнических и мелиоративных сооружений), конструкциях уникальных зданий и сооружений, зданий атомных электростанций, а также специальных видах конструкций (например, предварительно напряженных, пространственных, висячих), следует соблюдать дополнительные требования, предусмотренные соответствующими нормативными документами, в которых отражены особенности работы этих конструкций
