Electric energy storage (ESS) systems. Terms and definitions
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 8-2018
This standard establishes the terms and definitions of concepts in the field of EEE, including the terms necessary to define device parameters, test methods, design, installation, safety and environmental issues. This standard applies to systems that are part of an electrical network and are capable of extracting electrical energy from the power system, storing it within themselves and delivering electrical energy to the electrical power system. The processes of charge and discharge of the EELA may include energy conversion. The terms established by this standard are recommended for use in all types of documentation and literature (for this scientific and technical industry) that are within the scope of standardization work and (or) using the results of these works.
