Plastic pipings for the supply of gaseous fuels. Polyethylene (PE). Part 1. General
Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 8-2018; the date of introduction was postponed from 01/01/2019 to 01/01/2019 (Rosstandart order of November 8, 2018 No. 948); IUS 1-2019
This standard establishes the general characteristics of compositions of polyethylene (PE) used for the manufacture of pipes, fittings intended for the transportation of gaseous fuels. Together with GOST R 58121.2, GOST R 58121.3, this standard is applicable to pipes, fittings made of PE, their connections and connections with other elements made of PE and other materials intended for use under the following conditions: - the maximum working pressure (MOR), determined on the basis of the calculated stress obtained by dividing the minimum long-term strength of the composition (MRS) by the factor of safety C and taking into account the results of tests for the rapid propagation of cracks (BRT), if the value obtained is less than the calculated value by Nove MRS; - temperature of 20 ° С is taken as a base when designing
