The federal law establishes the legal basis for activities in the field of hydrometeorology and related fields (activities of the hydrometeorological service) and is aimed at meeting the needs of the state, individuals and legal entities in hydrometeorological, heliogeophysical information, as well as information on the state of the environment and its pollution
