The guidelines establish the application of the ion-selective method for measuring the mass concentration of fluoride ion in hair samples using an ion-selective electrode in the range from 0.003 to 6.0 mg / g. The technique is intended for use in sanitary-hygienic, environmental, medical and scientific organizations operating in the field of occupational pathology and ecology
