The standard applies to portable fire extinguishers used as part of fire-fighting equipment and emergency equipment of main and special fire engines and designed to remove smoke and toxic combustion products from the premises of buildings and structures and (or) to pump air into the premises in order to reduce temperature and toxicity of the gas-air environment, as well as for receiving together with the foam nozzle the air-mechanical foam and transporting it along the sleeves in I order to prevent the spread of fire and combustion products. The standard establishes general technical requirements for smoke exhausters and methods for their testing, which ensure compliance with fire safety requirements.
Стандарт распространяется на переносные пожарные дымососы, применяемые в составе пожарно-технического вооружения и аварийно-спасательного оборудования основных и специальных пожарных автомобилей и предназначенные для удаления дыма и токсичных продуктов горения из помещений зданий и сооружений и (или) для нагнетания воздуха в помещения с целью снижения температуры и токсичности газодымовоздушной среды, а также для получения совместно с пеногенераторной насадкой воздушно-механической пены и транспортирования ее по рукавам в помещения для предотвращения распространения пожара и продуктов горения. Стандарт устанавливает общие технические требования к дымососам и методы их испытаний, которые обеспечивают выполнение требований пожарной безопасности.
