Electrical installations are low voltage. Part 4.44. Protection for security. Protection against sudden voltage fluctuations and electromagnetic disturbances
Status: Effective - Supersedes. IUS 6-2019
The standard is intended to ensure safety requirements in electrical installations in the event of sharp voltage deviations and electromagnetic disturbances for various reasons indicated. The standard does not apply to power distribution systems for consumers and to systems for the production and transmission of electricity for such systems (see GOST 30331.1–2013, section 1), despite the fact that overvoltages and electromagnetic disturbances can be transmitted to or between electrical installations through such systems .
