Determination of hydrographic characteristics by cartographic method

The recommendations are intended to determine the hydrographic characteristics of watercourses, reservoirs and their catchments in a cartographic way. The recommendations establish the procedure for determining the hydrographic characteristics of land water bodies and their watersheds in a cartographic manner from topographic maps of the Russian Federation and satellite images. The recommendations are intended for use in hydrological research and engineering-hydrological calculations at Roshydromet institutions in accordance with SP 33-101, as well as for replenishment and updating of the GWR and water cadastre data of the Russian Federation. The recommendations may be useful for specialists of surveyors, research and design institutions during engineering and hydrometeorological surveys, the development of hydrological substantiation of projects in road construction, hydropower, the development of minerals and monitoring of water bodies, as well as other purposes in the field of development and protection of water resources.
Рекомендации предназначены для определения гидрографических характеристик водотоков, водоемов и их водосборов картографическим способом. Рекомендации устанавливают порядок определения гидрографических характеристик водных объектов суши и их водосборов картографическим способом по топографическим картам РФ и спутниковым снимкам. Рекомендации предназначены для использования в гидрологических исследованиях и инженерно-гидрологических расчетах в учреждениях Росгидромета согласно СП 33-101, а также для пополнения и актуализации данных ГВР и водного кадастра РФ. Рекомендации могут быть полезны для специалистов изыскательских, научно-исследовательских и проектных учреждений при проведении инженерно-гидрометеорологических изысканий, разработке гидрологического обоснования проектов в дорожном строительстве, гидроэнергетике, освоении полезных ископаемых и ведении мониторинга водных объектов, а также других целей в области освоения и защиты водных ресурсов.
