The norms of the document should be observed when designing new railway lines, additional (second, third and fourth) main tracks and strengthening (reconstruction) of existing lines, individual structures and devices of 1520 mm gauge railways of the general network of the Russian Federation and 1520 mm gauge external railway access roads under the axle load of a four-axle freight car is 245 kN (25 tf), and for subgrade calculations - in accordance with the requirements of Section 5, and the linear load of an eight-axle wagon 103 kN (10.5 tf). The standards do not apply to the design of railway lines and access roads, which provide for closed circulation of rolling stock with higher axial and linear loads
Нормы документа должны соблюдаться при проектировании новых железнодорожных линий, дополнительных (вторых, третьих и четвертых) главных путей и усиления (реконструкции) существующих линий, отдельных сооружений и устройств железных дорог колеи 1520 мм общей сети Российской Федерации и внешних железнодорожных подъездных путей колеи 1520 мм под нагрузку на ось четырехосного грузового вагона 245 кН (25 тс), а для расчетов земляного полотна — в соответствии с требованиями раздела 5, и погонную нагрузку восьмиосного вагона 103 кН (10,5 тс).
