Protection of the Public and Territories from Natural and Manmade Emergencies

Status: Effective
The federal law defines the general organizational and legal standards for the Russian Federation in the field of protection of citizens of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons located in the territory of the Russian Federation, all land, water, air space within the Russian Federation or its part, industrial and social facilities destination, as well as the environment from natural and man-made emergencies. The effect of the Federal Law extends to relations arising in the course of activities of state authorities of the Russian Federation, state authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local governments, as well as enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of their legal form and population, in the field of protecting the population and territories from emergency situations
