The standard applies to individual shielding kits (hereinafter referred to as kits) designed to protect electrical personnel from the harmful effects of the electric field of the industrial frequency of high-voltage electrical installations, such as indoor switchgears, open switchgears, overhead power lines, etc., including when working on potential of wire under voltage. The standard establishes general technical requirements and test methods for sets of types EP-1, EP-Z, EP-4.
Стандарт распространяется на индивидуальные экранирующие комплекты (далее — комплекты), предназначенные для защиты электротехнического персонала от вредного воздействия электрического поля промышленной частоты высоковольтных электроустановок, таких как закрытые распределительные устройства, открытые распределительные устройства, воздушные линии электропередачи и др., в том числе при работах на потенциале провода под напряжением. Стандарт устанавливает общие технические требования и методы испытаний для комплектов типов ЭП-1, ЭП-З, ЭП-4.
