Insulation coordination for low-voltage power system equipment. Part 1. Principles, requirements and tests
Status: Accepted
This standard specifies insulation coordination requirements for equipment connected to low-voltage power systems and having a rated voltage up to and including 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC. This standard is applicable for frequencies up to and including 30 kHz. The standard applies to equipment intended for use up to 2,000 m above sea level and provides clarification for use at higher altitudes (see 5.2.3.4). The standard contains requirements for technical committees to determine air gaps, leakage paths and criteria for solid insulation, including electrical test methods related to insulation coordination. The minimum air gaps specified in this standard do not apply in the presence of ionized gases. Special requirements for such cases may be specified at the discretion of the appropriate technical committees. The requirements of this standard do not apply to air gaps and leakage paths: - through liquid insulation; - through gaseous media other than air; - through compressed air. It is a fundamental safety standard that emphasizes basic safety requirements and is primarily intended for use by technical committees in developing standards in accordance with the principles set out in IEC Guide 104 and ISO/IEC Guide 51. It is one of the tasks of the technical committee, where applicable, to use this fundamental safety standard in the preparation of its publications. However, where air gaps, leakage paths and solid insulation requirements are not specified in the relevant product standards or where no relevant standards are available, this standard shall apply
- через жидкую изоляцию;
- через газообразную среду, иную, чем воздух;
