The standard establishes the preferred frequency ranges used for acoustic measurements and verification at discrete frequencies and the design of radio electronic (including measurement) equipment. The standard does not apply to audiometric equipment used in medicine, wireline equipment and equipment for tuning musical instruments.
Стандарт устанавливает предпочтительные рядычастот, применяемых для акустических измерений и поверки на дискретных частотах и конструирования радиоэлектронной (в том числе измерительной) аппаратуры. Стандарт не распространяется на аудиометрическую аппаратуру, применяемую в медицине, аппаратуру проводной связи и аппаратуру для настройки музыкальных инструментов.
