Milk. Method of purity determination
Status: Effective - Supersedes. The limitation of the effectiveness period has been lifted: Protocol No. 4-93 of the IGU dated 10.21.93 (IUS 4-1994)
The standard applies to raw, thermally treated milk, dairy and milk-containing canned food and establishes a method for determining its purity. The method is based on the separation of mechanical impurities from a dosed milk sample by filtering through a filter and visually comparing the presence of mechanical impurities on the filter with the reference sample.
