Plastics. Method for determination of environmental stress-cracking resistance of polyethylene
Status: Effective. The limitation of the effectiveness period has been lifted: Protocol No. 4-93 of the IGU dated 10.21.93 (IUS 4-1994)
The standard applies to plastics and establishes a method for determining the resistance of polyethylene to cracking under stress. The essence of the method consists in determining the time to destruction of polyethylene under tension in a surface-active medium for a given bending strain.
