Status: Effective
The standard establishes: the classification of hazardous and harmful production factors arising from the operation of lasers (laser systems), depending on the degree of danger of the generated radiation; requirements and standards for the types of hazardous and harmful production factors and the maximum permissible values of their parameters; methods of control of normalized parameters of hazardous and harmful production factors; requirements for the construction and presentation of standards for laser safety; general requirements for collective protection (hereinafter - protection) against dangerous and harmful production factors. The standard does not apply to personal protective equipment against laser radiation.
Стандарт устанавливает: классификацию опасных и вредных производственных факторов, возникающих при эксплуатации лазеров (лазерных установок), в зависимости от степени опасности генерируемого излучения; требования и нормы по видам опасных и вредных производственных факторов и предельно допустимые значения их параметров; методы контроля нормируемых параметров опасных и вредных производственных факторов; требования к построению и изложению стандартов по лазерной безопасности; общие требования к средствам коллективной защиты (в дальнейшем - средствам защиты) от опасных и вредных производственных факторов. Стандарт не распространяется на средства индивидуальной защиты от лазерного излучения.
