Status: Not effective - Canceled in the Russian Federation

The standard applies to drinking water and establishes rules for the selection, transportation and storage of samples of water supplied by centralized drinking water supply systems and water mains supplying water simultaneously for household drinking and industrial purposes. The standard does not apply to the sampling of water from water sources and the sampling of water intended for bacteriological analysis.

Стандарт распространяется на питьевую воду и устанавливает правила отбора, транспортирования и хранения проб воды, подаваемой централизованными системами хозяйственно-питьевого водоснабжения и водопроводами, подающими воду одновременно для хозяйственно-питьевых и производственных целей. Стандарт не распространяется на отбор проб воды из источников водоснабжения и на отбор проб воды, предназначенной для бактериологического анализа.
