GOST R 51713-2001

Ingots of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Permissible levels of specific activity of the radionuclides. Method of radiation control

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time. IUS 5-2001

The standard applies to ferrous and non-ferrous metal ingots resulting from smelting using scrap metal, including metal waste from nuclear energy packages contaminated with radionuclides. The standard establishes a method of radiation control of ferrous and non-ferrous metals to determine whether they meet the permissible levels of radioactivity.
