Status: Effective - Supersedes. The limitation of effectiveness has been lifted: Decree of the State Standard No. 1477 dated November 3, 1992 (IUS 2-1993)
The standard applies to vanilla (4-hydroxy, 3-methoxybenzaldehyde), derived from guaiacol and lignosulfonates, used in the food and perfume industry to impart a specific smell.
