Rubber. Method for the determination of low temperature resistance according to elastic rebound after compression
Status: Effective - Supersedes. The limitation of the effectiveness period has been lifted: Protocol No. 4-93 of the IGU dated 10.21.93 (IUS 4-1994)
The standard applies to rubber and establishes a method for determining their frost resistance by elastic recovery after compression. The essence of the method consists in determining the ability of a sample compressed at a temperature of (23 ± 2) ° C and maintained at a low temperature to restore its height at a low temperature after release from the load.
