Rubber. Method of test resistance to ageing by measurement of creep

Status: Effective - Supersedes. The limitation of effectiveness has been lifted: Protocol No. 5-94 of the IGU dated 05.17.94 (IUS 11-12-1994)

The standard applies to rubber and establishes a method for determining creep resistance, characterized by creep aging, relative residual deformation and change in relative deformation over time. The essence of the method consists in applying to the sample a constant tensile force at elevated temperature and determining the elongation in time and residual elongation.
