This standard applies to waterproof and waterproof antiseptic compounds to protect the ends of timber (hereinafter - compounds) and establishes a method for determining the waterproof properties. The criterion of moisture-proof properties of the coatings formed by the compositions is their ability to prevent the evaporation of moisture from moist wood during storage and drying. The test method consists in keeping wet wood samples covered with compositions for 30 days and determining the loss of their mass due to evaporation of moisture compared to control wood samples and wood samples covered with standard composition.
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на влагозащитные и влагозащитно-антисептические составы для защиты торцов лесоматериалов (далее - составы) и устанавливает метод определения влагозащитных свойств. Критерием влагозащитных свойств покрытий, образованных составами, является их способность препятствовать испарению влаги из влажной древесины при хранении и сушке. Метод испытания заключается в выдерживании влажных образцов древесины, покрытых составами, в течении 30 сут и определении потери их массы за счет испарения влаги по сравнению с контрольными образцами древесины и образцами древесины, покрытыми составом-эталоном.
