This standard applies to compressed air used in pneumatic equipment and pneumatic lines of brake systems, automation systems and auxiliary systems of railway rolling stock, as well as compressed air in test systems for pneumatic and electropneumatic devices and distance depot devices. This standard specifies the requirements for compressed air quality.
