GOST 12.4.218-2002

Occupational safety standards system. Personal protection equipment. Method for determination of materials penetrability in aggressive media

Status: Effective - Introduced for the first time

The standard applies to materials intended for the manufacture of personal protective equipment (PPE) - artificial leather, rubberized, film, textile materials and establishes a method for determining the permeability of materials in corrosive environments. The standard is applied in the development of materials intended for the manufacture of PPE and the assessment of the protective properties of commercially available materials with respect to aggressive media (solutions and vapors of acids, alkalis, organic solvents, petroleum, petroleum products and other liquid aggressive media and their vapors).
