This standard applies to breakfast cereals - corn and wheat flakes, fully ready to eat, are products obtained by frying pre-cooked and flattened grains or cereals of corn and wheat with flavoring additives. The standard sets out requirements for corn and wheat flakes aimed at ensuring their safety for the life and health of the population.
