The standard applies to harvested and supplied grain of grain and leguminous crops intended for food, feed and technical purposes, and establishes the rules for acceptance, methods of sampling and sample formation. The standard does not apply to soybeans and peanuts.

Стандарт распространяется на заготовляемое и поставляемое зерно зерновых и зернобобовых культур, предназначенное для продовольственных, кормовых и технических целей, и устанавливает правила приемки, методы отбора и формирования проб. Стандарт не распространяется на сою и арахис.
