Ensuring of wear resistance of products. Determination of energy-consumption while plastic deformation of materials

Status: Effective
The standard establishes a method for determining the energy intensity of metallic materials and alloys when testing tensile samples. The standard does not apply to metal coatings and metal-based compositions that have anisotropy of material properties over the cross section of the sample from the surface to the center, for example, steel subjected to surface hardening (cementation, nitriding, boriding, etc.)
Стандарт устанавливает метод определения энергоемкости металлических материалов и сплавов при испытании образцов на растяжение. Стандарт не распространяется на металлические покрытия и композиции на металлической основе, имеющие анизотропию свойств материала по сечению образца от поверхности к центру, например, стали, подвергнутые поверхностному упрочнению (цементации, азотированию, борированию и т.д.).
