The standard applies to automotive electrical equipment, including electronic, designed for installation on motor vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, tractors, self-propelled agricultural vehicles, as well as on automotive, motorcycle and moped engines of internal combustion. The standard does not apply to starter batteries, wires, lamps and other light sources intended for automobiles, tractors and motorcycles, as well as spark plugs, glow plugs, control and measuring and other products of non-electric principle of action used in the electrical system.
Стандарт распространяется на автотракторное электрооборудование, в том числе электронное, предназначенное для установки на автомобильных транспортных средствах, мотоциклах, мотороллерах, мопедах, тракторах, самоходных сельскохозяйственных машинах, а также на автотракторных, мотоциклетных и мопедных двигателях внутреннего сгорания. Стандарт не распространяется на стартерные аккумуляторные батареи, провода, лампы и другие источники света, предназначенные для автомобилей, тракторов и мотоцилов, а также на искровые свечи зажигания, свечи накаливания, контрольно-измерительные и другие изделия неэлектрического принципа действия, используемые в системе электрооборудования.
