The standard applies to machines, process equipment and other sources of noise, which create constant noise in the air environment, broadband or tonal, according to GOST 12.1.003-83. The standard establishes an accurate measurement method for determining sound power levels in the frequency bands of noise sources in a reverberation chamber. The standard does not establish a method for measuring the directivity of radiation from noise sources.
Стандарт распространяется на машины, технологическое оборудование и другие источники шума, которые создают в воздушной среде постоянные шумы, широкополосные или тональные, по ГОСТ 12.1.003-83. Стандарт устанавливает точный метод измерений при определении уровней звуковой мощности в полосах частот источников шума в реверберационной камере. Стандарт не устанавливает метода измерений показателя направленности излучения источников шума.
