This standard applies to special additional clothing made of insulating materials, worn over the main work clothes and serves to further protect the skin and main work clothes when working under conditions of possible contamination with radioactive and chemically toxic substances. The standard establishes requirements for reusable, short-term and disposable clothing used when working with radioactive and chemically toxic substances (acids, alkalis, oxidizing agents, etc.). The standard does not apply to special additional clothing for the cold season. The standard establishes general technical requirements for protective clothing and methods for testing it.
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на специальную дополнительную одежду, изготавливаемую из изолирующих материалов, надеваемую поверх основной спецодежды и служащую для дополнительной защиты кожных покровов и основной спецодежды при проведении работ в условиях возможного загрязнения радиоактивными и химически токсичными веществами. В стандарте установлены требования к спецодежде многоразового, краткосрочного и одноразового применения, применяемой при работе с радиоактивными и химически токсичными веществами (кислотами, щелочами, окислителями и т.п.) Стандарт не распространяется на специальную дополнительную одежду для холодного времени года. Стандарт устанавливает общие технические требования к спецодежде и методы ее испытаний
