Paint materials. Method for determination of the pot life of multicomponent systems

This standard applies to paints and varnishes (LKM), consisting of several components that are stored separately and mixed before use, and establishes a method for determining the period of their viability after mixing the components by determining the specific indicator (s) in the laboratory. The determination of viability according to this method is carried out in two ways: - passes / does not pass, when a specific (e) indicator (s) is determined after a set period of time; - as a definition of viability by re-determining a specific indicator (s) at fixed intervals (intervals) of time. This standard does not apply to quickly cured (less than 15 min) coatings. This standard is not intended to determine the viability of paintwork materials during their application. Special systems that are applied at low temperatures should be tested at the lowest consistent temperature (s) to simulate the conditions under which they will be used in practice.
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на лакокрасочные материалы (ЛКМ), состоящие из нескольких компонентов, которые хранят отдельно и смешивают перед применением, и устанавливает метод определения срока их жизнеспособности после смешения компонентов путем определения конкретного(ых) показателя(ей) в лабораторных условиях. Определение жизнеспособности по настоящему методу проводят двумя способами: - по схеме проходит/не проходит, когда определяют конкретный(е) показатель(и) через установленный период времени; - как определение жизнеспособности путем повторного определения конкретного(ых) показателя(ей) через установленные промежутки (интервалы) времени. Настоящий стандарт не распространяется на быстро отверждающиеся (менее 15 мин) ЛКМ. Настоящий стандарт не предназначен для определения жизнеспособности ЛКМ в процессе их нанесения. Специальные системы, которые наносят при низких температурах, следует испытывать при наиболее низкой согласованной(ых) температуре(ах) для моделирования условий, при которых они будут использоваться на практике
