Marine, locomotive and industrial engines. Fire protection requirements
Двигатели судовые, тепловозные и промышленные. Требования к пожарной безопасности
This standard applies to marine, diesel and industrial internal combustion engines operating on liquid and / or gaseous fuels and establishes requirements for fire protection of engines, including equipment and auxiliary units that make up the engines, to minimize the risk of fire from the engine. The standard does not apply to engines used to drive agricultural tractors, automobiles and aircraft. The standard can be extended to engines for off-road vehicles, small vessels and other applications in the absence of a standard directly governing the requirements for their fire safety.
Настоящий стандарт распространяется на судовые, тепловозные и промышленные двигатели внутреннего сгорания, работающие на жидком и/или газообразном топливе и устанавливает требования к пожарной защите двигателей, в том числе к оборудованию и вспомогательным агрегатам, входящим в состав двигателей, обеспечивающие уменьшение до минимума опасности возникновения пожара от двигателя. Стандарт не распространяется на двигатели, используемые для привода тракторов сельскохозяйственного назначения, автомобилей и самолетов. Стандарт может быть распространен на двигатели для внедорожных транспортных средств, малых судов и других применений в случае отсутствия стандарта, непосредственно регламентирующего требования к их пожарной безопасности
