Steels and alloys. Methods for determination of gases
Status: Effective - Supersedes. IUS 8-1990 The limitation of effectiveness period has been lifted: Protocol No. 5-94 of the IGU dated 05.17.94 (IUS 11-12-1994)
The standard establishes a method for visually determining the color of petroleum products, including lubricating oils, furnace fuels, fuel oil, and petroleum waxes. The standard does not address all of the safety concerns associated with its use, if they exist. The user of the standard is responsible for ensuring safety, protecting human health and determining the limits of applicability of the standard prior to its use.
