This standard applies to conical friction variators of machine-building applications and drives based on them (hereinafter referred to as variators) for climate versions of U and T categories 1-3, UHL and 0 categories 4 according to GOST 15150. Requirements of this standard are mandatory, except 4.3; 5.1.4
